What a treat we have tonight - Glenn Harrell will be at Woody's on the Water. Glenn proved to me what a great songwriter James Taylor really is - I couldn't stand him until I heard Glenn sing some of his songs. Glenn is one of those can-do musicians - lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, lead vocal, backup, percussion, country, hard rock, folk, band, duet, solo - he can do it all, and does it well. My favorite is Glenn & his acoustic, covering Michael Frank's "Antonio." Combine that with a view of the water & some great nibbles - heaven.

Mike Coucoules called me to mention his art show Saturday night. The Kulture Lab will feature Mike's creations in bronze, wood & other mediums. He was talking about this cool shark with wings in bronze he'd made - can't wait to see it! It's a mardi gras theme, with a band & food - $5 cover. 1114 Court E, below the old Panamonica's across from the Main Library. 7pm-11pm

My guys 9 Pound Hammer will be at Doyles Saturday night. Dustin ordered more of their debut cd's so be sure to get one if you missed them the first time around. Great music to cruise Ruston Way by. . .
And - ran into Allen Lynn. His bands will be at Dawson's this weekend & next weekend.
All of this great music - no excuse to stay home!
